On June 15th, 2007 Century Color purchased the assets of Gemini Color of Stratford, CT.  Peter Jelacic, President of Gemini Color, now serves as an independent consultant working with Century Color and his past customers to help facilitate a smooth transition.   You might be wondering what Pete Jelacic has been up to since the merger, well he can now add world traveler to his list of accomplishments.

Over the past 6 months, Pete has spent a large portion of his free time in Croatia visiting his family and building a new house.  Now that the house is finished, he plans to spend at least a few weeks evey other month overseas.  During the Thanksgiving holiday, Pete circumnavigated the globe again and spent time in Canada with his wife, Ghislaind, and her family.

Pete has also gone to school to obtain his insurance license.  It took him about a month1755875-1204938-thumbnail.jpg
to be certified.  He also has aspirations to become a realtor, but needs to go to school for that license as well.  A new house and career certification all in six months!?  Doesn't sound like he is retired to me!

When asked about life without the day-to-day grind of running Gemini, Pete says that he is enjoying the extra free time and hopes to use it to his advantage on the golf course this spring.
